The Animation Workshop
The Oxdox:MK education programme includes a number of different courses this year.
The first workshop took place over February half term with Triffic Films who ran the animation workshop for local school students. The resulting film on the formation of a buzzing city in 30 seconds will be screened on the opening night at Oxdox:MK.

The Documentary Workshop
30 students from Christianshavn School in Copenhagen are coming over for the Oxdox:MK festival for the first week. They will join with local school and college students in a documentary workshop at Bletchley Park on March 9th. The students will screen films they have made on the subject of 'The City', one of the key strands at Oxdox:MK this year. Here are some of the films they have made:

The Chemistry Of Love MK
We are producing a documentary about the reasons why girls and boys are attracted to each other. We are going to be looking at how people react when they’re attracted to someone, and what happens to there body language and how they portray there emotions to the opposite sex. Also we will are going to research info on what happens inside the body like dilated pupils and hormones.

The documentary will be made for the 40th birthday of Milton Keynes, it will show Milton Keynes as it was in the past, how it has progressed to the present day and what we hope it will aspire to in the near and far future.
The background information that will be used to keep the audience interested will be the information on how Milton Keynes came about and how we have become such an iconic town in many ways. The necessary information that the audience will have is factual information that includes dates and times and all the different things that are going to happen in Milton Keynes and also the small facts about the past of Milton Keynes.
We are hoping the documentary will end with people being proud of where they live and realising that they need to look after every inch of it to help keep its originality.

2000 F is a portrait of four Danish boys, all with a Muslim background, who live in Copenhagen. They are all in the same class in 10 th grade and they live at the same block. In the film the boys talk about girls, schools, their upbringing and what they think of integration and racial discrimination in denmark especially Copenhagen.
